Modular typeface system design for DEMO.

DEMO is a design festival about experiments in the process of creation organized by ADI-FAD.

The first idea of making this typeface had started to develop 3D printed pieces for Letterpress printing, and then the idea evolved to create a modular typeface. The letters are formed by 5 type of modules. Instead of producing 26 alphabets and 10 numbers, the 5 modules system helps to have less production time to make 3D printed pieces, and also it helps to get customized styles of letters, or to be adapted to the digital platforms.
